Mountain Bike Suspension Courses in Whistler and North Vancouver, BC

This is a one of a kind experience that will empower you to work on the most complex part of your riding experience

What is involved

Learn About the Working Principles of Suspension

We start each course with a practical demonstration of suspension fundamentals. We will explain, in plain language, spring and damper operation, the pros & cons of air vs. coil springs, bladder vs. IFP equipped dampers, spring curves, and more. We do this using a hands-on demo and digital content.

Service Your Fork

Course participants will completely rebuild their own fork, replacing all relevant air spring, damper seals, dust wipers, and fluids. During this process, participants can also learn a great deal about other models of forks as they are working next to other participants.

Service Your Shock

Ever wondered what the inside of your shock looks like? Well, you're about to find out! You will fully rebuild your own rear shock, replacing all relevant seals and bleeding the damper with fresh oil.

Meet the Instructors

The suspension courses are run in a small group setting with a maximum of 6 participants for 2 instructors

Simon Szoke

Simon is a mechanical engineer with 5 years of suspension-specific wrenching experience as a side job (which often approaches a full-time job).

Instructor

Kevin Clarke

Kevin has 15 years of wrenching experience working in bike shops all over the world, as well as automotive and other settings.
